Inspired by Salsa
Teenage dancers reveal their thoughts and feelings about Salsa and explain what motivates them to rehearse and perform. We see two young dancers in rehearsal for a show called 'Salsa Youth', choreographed by RJC Dance Company and the dancers. They explain why they regard the style as up-to-date and relevant. Compositional aspects of the choreography are also highlighted, such as the inclusion of unison and pair work. We join the youngsters on the night of the show two weeks later and hear how they feel about the forthcoming performance. We also see a short excerpt from 'Salsa Youth'.
