Passengers Killed in Train Derailment

US train derailment kills passengers; Nepal quake rescue; N Korean minister "executed"

At least five people have been killed when a passenger train derailed in the US city of Philadelphia. Officials say they do not yet know the cause of the accident.

Rescue workers in Nepal are searching for survivors of Tuesday's powerful earthquake, the second in the country in less than three weeks. More than sixty people are known to have died but that figure is expected to rise.

South Korea's intelligence agency says the defence minister of North Korea has been executed for disloyalty and lack of respect for the country's leader, Kim Jong-un. The agency said that the minister, Hyon Yong-Chol, was shot by anti-aircraft guns in front of hundreds of officials at the end of April.
