Upton Jazz Festival

The 33rd Upton Jazz Festival was another rip roaring success this year with thousands of people attending the riverside town in the blazing sunshine.
Ìý
This year, the event was stripped back somewhat because of a lack of volunteers.ÌýInstead, organisers improved the camping, offered a bigger choice of stalls, food and drink.
Ìý
One of the most talked about venues was under the river bridge, which was transformed into a gig venue for the weekend.
Upton Ukulele Festival

Ìý
Organisers fell in love with the festival site - and despite there only being hundreds attending their inaugural year in Upton - they're expecting thousands to now descend on the riverside town having discovered its beauty.

Features

- In the gig guide:ÌýThe ultimate festival clash - details of El Dorado, Tenbury, Linton, Cookley and WestFest.

Musicians' Masterclass

Ìý
Held across three days, Amplify offered exclusive access to the UK music industry’s biggest names through intimate talks, music masterclasses and recording workshops.
Ìý
This week, we hear top tips from Britain's best-selling jazz artist of all time - Jamie Cullum - who gives us a lesson on the ivories!
Ìý
Monthly roadshows

Ìý
Since the beginning of 2011, we've taken our ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Introducing show out on-the-road to various areas across our patch to bring people a flavour of the local music scene.
Ìý
Every month, we rock up at a different venue with a pile of microphones, cables and recording equipment along with several vans full of enthusiastic musicians!
Ìý
As well as the bands being able to invite an audience, we also bring along a number of music industry professionals to comment on the live acts.
Ìý
We tend to host our sessions on evenings/weekends is because it's normally a quiet time for venues - so effectively you get a free gig curated with the best bands (from the thousands who have submitted their music to us), full tech provided, plusÌýÌý- so effectively you just need to open your doors!
