3 - 6 May: Upton Folk Festival
Upton Folk Festival takes over Upton-On-Severn, bringing its usual range of great performers with the folk genre.
This year is the festival’s 30th birthday and they promise a specially extended festival to celebrate.
Expect sessions in many of the pubs across the town and a general feel good weekend to kick off the festival season.
Supporting Wet Wet Wet

We had her in session, in Leominster, back in 2015. She then appeared on ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Midlands Today in Birmingham. University then took Lucy to Cumbria before headingÌýto London where she followed her heart and established herself as a regular on the busking scene.

During one of her gigs, at a railway station, Jeremy Vine discovered Lucy and invited her to appear on ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio 2.
Ìý
Lucy is now heading across the country supporting Wet Wet Wet on their latest tour and has secured a spot at this summer's Big Feastival, after we put her forward through ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Music Introducing.

Hani Mojtahedy was due to perform at the Hellens Music Festival, in Much Marcle on Friday, but a mix up meant that she'd applied for a tourist visa instead of an artists' visa.
