As he nears the end his life and watches his friends and contemporaries die around him, he becomes more confused by the younger generation's selfishness. He doesn't condone the slap, but is alarmed at the far reaching and divisive effect it has on his family.
Lex Marinos
Born into a family of Greek cafe owners in New South Wales, Australia, Lex graduated from the University of NSW with a degree in Drama. He has worked in all areas of the entertainment industry as a writer, actor, director and broadcaster.
His TV acting credits include: Kingswood Country, City West and Embassy. Lex has also starred in numerous short and feature films and credits include Cathy's Child and Goodbye Paradise.
Lex has directed TV series including Bodyline (which he co-wrote), Embassy and A Country Practice. He also directed a segment for the Sydney Olympics Opening Ceremony in 2000.
