Sakari Oramo leads the 蜜芽传媒 Symphony Orchestra for the first live Prom of the season. Beethoven鈥檚 epic 鈥楨roica鈥� Symphony sits alongside Copland鈥檚 Quiet City, Eric Whitacre鈥檚 Sleep and a Basquiat-inspired world premiere from Hannah Kendall.

Jonathan Scott takes control of the Royal Albert Hall鈥檚 mighty organ for a sonic extravaganza featuring his own ingenious arrangements of symphonic favourites. Works by Rossini, Elgar, Mascagni and Dukas lead to Saint-Sa毛ns鈥檚 dramatic 鈥極rgan鈥� Symphony.

Sir Simon Rattle conducts the London Symphony Orchestra and pianist Mitsuko Uchida in a programme ranging from Elgar to Ad猫s and Gabrieli to Kurt谩g. The climax is Vaughan Williams鈥檚 Fifth Symphony.
