thanks and more

thanks to the people who left comments I was so surprised when I found them this afternoon, I had tried to post on the Saturday after my first post but the beeb blog gear just kept eating them so after 4 tries I gave up, I thought I’d better have another go so was going to post this afternoon, a very tame post, when I saw the comments I checked out the blogs, well I got as far as Sunny’s dating form and Calum’s dating festival and two hours later trying to catch up on all the posts and comments I knew I had to get back to some work, thanks for a great giggle I shall be reading more regularly now, sorry I can’t add to the fun but I am not gifted with witty words,

if I was on Arran I’d join the knitting pub group for sure, Sunny I sew mostly, crafts and small quilts, what’s SCOT please,

log cabin

I have never made a sample quilt and have wanted too, some members of the Lewis quilt group have started making a sample quilt and log cabin was the first block, we are working all the blocks by hand so I decided to use commercial fabrics from my stash and as I am hand sewing and I like embroidery stitching, I decided to join my block with embroidery stitches, I want it to have a period look,
