It's the end of an era at Cherry Oaks Farm in Shropshire, as Neil and Jayne Madeley say goodbye to their dairy herd after thirty years of milking. They've been forced to sell their prize-winning cattle because of the falling price of milk. The ripples caused by the volatile global commodity market have hit their 150 acre farm at the foot of the Shropshire Hills, and they can no longer balance the books.
