As Arctic sea ice recedes, shipping traffic through the Northwest Passage and the Bering Strait has increased. Soon a luxury cruise ship will carry 1700 passengers through what could be very turbulent waters. Coast Guard officials from the US and Canada are training for a possible rescue from one of these huge liners.
