‘Dilmano Dilbero’ is a traditional Bulgarian fertility song. Music like this is traditionally performed at weddings. Listen as the London Bulgarian Choir sings about pepper, considered a symbol of fertility and life.

Translation: ‘Beautiful Dilmana, tell me how to plant peppers, so that they fruit and flower and you can pick and pick and pick whenever you want?’‘You push them and you shove them. That’s how you plant the peppers, so that they fruit and flower and you can pick whenever you want.’
