Katy Lewis was 14 when her parents decided to foster teenagers and her once cosy family life was turned upside down.

Katy found it difficult as a natural child in the family unit and felt alienated among all the foster brothers & sisters coming and going, unable to compete against their often dramatic problems. But as she became older, Katy could see there were advantages to being part of the fostering experience...
