Hi dear Jan , I 'm really sorry to hear about your car accident . If it happend to me I was rally shocked even it 's a few years that I have been regularly driven ! Your blog reminded my first experineces in driving . When I start to drive my hubby had a broken leg and I really need to drive in a very snowy winter and guess what in first days I had a accident . I was near to crossroad ( red sign stop )in a snowy street and suddenly I saw some people passing the street and I suddnely press the brake very strnongly ( I msut confess my speed wasn't low at that slipy street ) and you know the result... I lost the car control and it sliped a few meters and it bomped to another car in red light stop . Luckily there wasn't a damage on that car but mine was apparently seroius and guess what I have to drive with that car for about two month and it was really embarrassing ! Fourtunately I hadn't another accident yet but as you said all the time we must be cautios to avoid accident .

I'm sorry for you, Jan - and so happy that nobody has been injured! Mind you, accidents happen - they also happen to experienced drivers. The speed usually does not give us a lot of time to take decisions, so when you get into a dangerous situation, it may help if you are experienced but often it is just a matter of luck if you get out unharmed. Chin up and take care!

I am so sorry to hear about your car accident and thank god you were not injured. I allow myself to advise you to see a doctor. It happens sometimes to feel well after accidents but after few days we start to feel scatterbrained.I hope it will not be the case with you. I have my driving licence for a while now but I have to confess something I am the worst driver in the world.My car is in a pitiful situation. I hate driving and it brings to me a feeling of disconfort. I drive because I am obliged to.
Again happy to hear that you are safe.

Good to hear that you survived your first and hopefully the last accident of your life. I have been quite busy in the last few weeks and did not get the chance to make comments but I read all your messages today and I can gather from all your messages that you are an optomistic and dedicated person. It's interesting that you've had an experience without any remarkable pay or hazard. In our friend circle, we make a fun (if someone has accident) that 'Right, you are the experienced driver!!!!!'. And, here's the fact. We believe that if someone thinks him/herself an inexperienced, s/he always cares while driving. On the other hand, the driver, who believes that s/he has a lot of expertise, ignores everything and gets victim of an accident. It's upon you which group you'd like to join. But, right now, I'd like to congratulate you for the experience as we usually do in our circle.

Hi Jan!! I am sorry too about the car accident I am so glad that both of you were fine. One of my close friends went into a similar situation in terms of them not being a driver for too long and getting into an road accident...you always think these situations will never happen to you!! However she had to go through to solicitors and argue her case, she used McKeowns solicitors St Albans, and they dealt with her situation efficiently

I'm Ploy from Thailand.I am sorry to hear that but you're so good luck that you don't have any trouble hurt!! Hurey!!! I want to tell you that I've ever had acident.For me it's my motorcycle. There are 3 people in one motorcycle. I know it's so bad ,,that time my friends rode it, we wanted to go to some place(I can't remember now ^^)but I knew only it's near my house. Then there's a old man crashed our motorcycle. I didn't know how he came. It's only one second. Oh dear!! poor man!! That time,my friends didn't have any hurt but I was just hurt a little. But the poor man, he hurt his leg. I could see his bone. I want to cry again" After that a lot of people helped us" I saw that man call ambulance. I want to thank you him again. Then we all went to the hospital together. All of each family gave him money. That time my friends and I go to visit him everyday. But now it's ok^^Uhm... Jan you're so lucky person !!

I'm new comer from thailand. First of all,I'm so sorry with your car accident. For me, accident will help improve your experience and become a great driver. I think that most experienced driver must had some accident like this before. For instance,this situation is like my father's experienced. He told me once he had that accident,it thought him what to do. Also it helped him became aware and more careful when he drive a car. And since that accident happened he don't have any car accident anymore! So you don't have to be worried. I'm sure that you'll become an excellent driver. :=)

there is nothing more important that your own safety. A car, you can buy a new one if it's broken.

now please more be careful when you are about to cross the intersection because lots of car accidents usually occur there,, even in Thailand and in other countries.

I'm so sorry to hear that, do you know that you are very lucky. Not to have been injured?
I know, what you must be going to right now. I felt really terrible, at that time I didn't want to ever drive a car again. In Thailand, when I drive a car to the University, I always see an accident on the road, But I believe that if we had driven carefully and followed the traffic laws accidents would not have happened.

i m hajer from algeria sorry to what happen and very glad that you weren t injured,it happens each day even if we are cautious sometimes we meet people who r in rush may be or just don t pay atention to those who re next them!i don t have a licence driver but once i was learning how to drive by my father it was good but one day i wanted to take the car out from the garage(please how we say it?)so booom it was my mistake i started up speedy so the rear of the car collided with the wall my father got angry with me and i abandoned learning hehe
