It's amazing your posts, the pictures as well. Your history has something similar to mine. I met my boyfriend the first time on internet , I am from Brazil, he is from Czech Republic. Nowadays I am learning czech language( which is quite difficult!) and he is studying portuguese. We meet each other 2 times per year, but we can't bear it anymore and he asked me to marry him. So I hope that I will get married soon, we still don't know if we will live in Prague or in Recife( my city) in Brazil. Wish me good luck!

Your experience was amazing. Congratulations for facing this adventurous trip. I've my daughter who achieved very important goals in USA, going there through a work contract as psychologist, and got on very well in an institution which receives illegal inmigrants under eighteen, and she has to provide them assistance, because they have serious disorders caused by abuse, drugs, etc. In fact she had a hard time on her beginnings, because she had studied british English, and it was rather hard for her to understand kids speaking US english , but she got through it after some time, and now she is very successful in her work and very considered by the authorities of the Institution.

Nice to meet you Jan! First of all, beautiful pics and nice pics of lovely couple. I like your blog entries. Your English is quite good and you look very friendly. I can guess from your writing. I agree your ideas about realization of dreams. One should not stop dreaming because if he remain optimistic he will achieve his goals. Meanwhile, your engagement ring looks lovely and I can see your love for Bulgarian country and for their people;). You asked about internet friendship and our experinece so for me I don't believe internet friendship because people change their friends on internet like they change their clothes, lolz. Most of them are not loyal and try to fool others. I too had few freinds in the past but we didn't get on well. Anyway, you're the lucky chap. I hope I too achieved all my dreams very soon :).

One question for you. You already said and asked internet meeting to all guys. After you know the guy by internet, you do not contact by phone especially mobile phone?

In this time, mobile telecommunication is more easy telecommunication method, so we tends to use those machine after knowing someone rather than internet like email.

To oh: Answering your question, yes, we spoke in the skype. It is free, you know! And mobile communication between countries is terribly expensive! However, It is not enough for one loving couple!

Hi Jan,
oh what a fussy week was for me the past one! Now, at last I can just sit down and quietly write a couple of lines to you and answer to your question about meeting trough internet and our experience.
But the beginning of my post maybe looks such promising, therefore I'm saying straight off it's will be nothing special, I write it for no reason in actual fact, just to say hello, I don't write long to you, or rather only once.
So I almost haven't any experience I can say. Some ten years ago when I work as web-designer in Ivanovo I correspond with some girls and I come to a conclusion that this way to make acquaintance is quite temping, but all the same it's not for me. In the real life it's seems much more simpler.
The end of your story, Jan, looks like just in some marvellous fairy tale, but the main thing is, that's your really life, not a dream. (Already).
Congratulations! (it seems soon ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ learning English will start to ban us for use this word).

As to your general question about meeting via the Internet, I have read a book recently consisting entirely of e-mail messages between a married woman who contacts a lonely linguist by mistake (actually she had wanted to contact a publishing house to stop a magazine subscription) and they fall in love - fascinated at first mainly by the clever use of written language.
I can relate to that very well and I am quite sure that the internet will increasingly be used - and successfully so - as a medium to start relationships. Especially, as in your case, it opens up new ways of meeting people across country borders. That's a very good thing, improving mutual understanding between nations and peoples.

The third-person-s rule applies only in present simple tense. With the "will future" you use "will" for all persons, followed by the base form of the verb.

I’m glade to meet you here, my Russian colleague! Your desire for learning English seems to me very reasonable. As soon as you start speaking fluently, you’ll see that the World will be opened for you and there will no borders anymore!

Concerning learning Spanish, my method of learning any language includes speaking with native people, chatting online, listening news and other broadcast on TV or Radio and translating songs! Of course, after you’ve known much about grammar! So, I’d offer you to use this advice and you’ll see the result!

Your story is absolutely fantastic and so romantic! When I began to read it, I can not imagine that your story is going to finish on such an happy ending, as it seems you were quite scary to meet this person, in spite of that your "net" relationship seemed quite good. Some times ago, I would say that meeting a person on the Internet made me feel quite ill-at-ease and a bit nervous, as you can't really know who you are going to meet. But finally, if you want to discover people, and not only people living in our neighbourhood, but from all over the world, you need to use this big link which is Internet. I think that your story is the best example of the wonderful effect of this media.
Thanks a lot also for your pictures: I can't really imagine Bulgaria, and your photos make me wish to go there once!
