I'm Jan! Nice to meet you!
Hello everybody! Here is Jan and I'll be with you during this lovely summer month - June! First of all I'd like to express gratitude to ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ team for the opportunity to improve my English in such an amusing way! Guys, I'm extremely happy!!! And secondly, I'd like to say thank you as well to my friend Gursel, who has discovered for me ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Learning English!
At the beginning, I'd like to mansion that the 1st of June is International Children's Day! In my opinion, It's important that our society care about the observance of children's rules and gives them an opportunity to have fun and laugh during that day! It'll be interesting to know, how is this day celebrated in your country?
And now, let me introduce myself. My name is Evgeniya. But most of my friends call me Jan! It's easier, isn't it?! I'm native Russian girl from Moscow city! As you know, it's a capital of Russia. I've got some pictures for you, here they are!
Moscow is the seventh largest city in the World. Its population is about 11 million people officially and about 18 million people practically! What's a difference!!!
It possesses the world's second busiest (after Tokyo) metro system and comprises 180 stations (lines and stations are here https://engl.mosmetro.ru/pages/page_0.php?id_page=4).
Moscow is the most expensive city in the World. It takes first place for billionaires, living there. And the price for 1 square meter of elite property is up on $9000. But don't worry, the life of an ordinary person is rather cheaper!
For me Moscow is an impressive city with 24 hours tempo of life! It gives endless opportunity to everyone for everything! It sounds amazing, isn't it? So, welcome to Moscow city!!! For more details check here https://moscow.ru/en/ . By the way, what do you think about Moscow and have you been there?
For almost 5 years I have been working in an event management environment. The truth is that my profession is my passion! I'm keen on making different kinds of events to people's pleasure and work! So, I intend to tell you about the most exciting moments of the great events! Follow my entries!
And finally for now, I'd like to write a few words about my hobbies. I graduated from music school. So, my music taste is very various, from classic to techno! I love traveling and discovering different places and faces! And the main hobby is learning languages! For now I speak 4 languages more or less. As you already know, my native language is Russian. Except English, I'm learning Spanish at the moment. But the most part of my every day life I speak Bulgarian. You'll ask me why?! I'm going to tell you about that and much more tomorrow! Join me then!
Friendly greetings,
Jan

I'd have to say we have the same passion for languages. My first language is Filipino. Two years ago, I studied Japanese. But I stopped to give way for school. And just last week I've started learning Spanish by myself while I'm on summer break. Yes, it's summer here. But unfortunately summer's going to end soon and I'll be back at the university. :( Haha. By the way, the pictures are great! :)
Good day to you! :)

nice to meet you and welcome.
Your first post is interesting as a begining. It would be nice to be with you practicing English in this forum as, I find your Englishat advanced level.
Hope I can learn somethings new from you here and thanks a lot for sharing your experiences with me and the other learners.
I have never been to Moscow although I have traveled to some European countries farther than your country.of course, I have seen Moscow on TV and based on what I have seen and heard about it, it must be a big and beautiful city with a large number of people and a high level of polution the same as TEHRAN the city I live.
I will write you more about TEHRAN as there are some similarities between MOSCOW and TEHRAN.
aLL THE BEST

I'm sending my a bit belated friendly greeting to you too. That's very well and pleasantly to read your these lovely words in the your first posting, and it's not surprising for me that your writing is so good: I know, nowadays in Moscow there are hundreds of English-speaking societies and clubs, a lots of foreigners for whom spoken English is usual practice and you live among them (but I notice you abuse with "...I'd like to..." in your post, it isn't IELTS Advanced Level like Karoun demand, will you argue:-)...but I think it's for excitement and I'm proud of you).
I'm from Kazakhstan, but I live in Ivanovo City which isn't so far from Moscow a long time, 22 years, my City a.k.a. in common speech Russian Manchester because like The England Manchester it was the Large Center of textile manufacture in former time. My native languages are Kazakh and Russian, and for me quite understandable without any studying is Turkish, because Turkish and Kazakh are related languages.
Thanks, Jan. Look forward to reading your next postings.
Best wishes,
Emat.

To Jeyaprakash: Hi! Be in touch!
To Pary: Thank you for the complement! I promise to write more about my occupation next days! Actually, I speak Bulgarian, not Hungarian, but your other suggestion is partially right! Speaking different languages at the same time is no so easy, I absolutely agree with you! But You're used to!
To Rogerio: Welcome to Bulgaria some day!
TO Karoun: I'm looking forward to learn more about TEHRAN!
To Emat: You are right! My level of English language is not as fluent as I wish to! That's way I'm learning it here with you! I'm not living in Moscow now, but I often visit my parents there!
Lucky you! I have friend from Turkey and he told me that Russians, who live there, learn it quickly! But for me it sounds difficult! See you!
Best wishes,
Jan

Before I read your next blog, I try to guess why you learn Bulgarian.
1. One of parent mother country is Bulgaria
2. You are supposed to attend Bulgaria University as a master or PhD course
3. Your boy friend's mother country is Bulgaria
4. Just fun
