1th July my 1th blogging day

Post categories:

Enayat Enayat | 04:05 UK time, Friday, 2 July 2010

First July 2010 is my first ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ English Language blogging adventure. My fingers were touching my PC's keyboard writing a topic when a rapid pops up on the screen caught my eyes and drew my attention "World Cricket League Division one, first July and the first Afghanistan Cricket match against Canada in Netherland". Thereafter, it was all about my blogging. few of my other office colleagues joined me in watching the game, who will win ?

The team called Out of Ashes who recently got preparation in the heating city of Jalal Abad for the cold city games in Netherland or the team fully equipped and fully provided by every kind of sports facilities? Nobody knows, one of my friends nodded and said, I am sure the team of miracles will win, but none of us got the word at this moment. The one next to me whispered, it is not miracles, but it is a hidden talent and the Afghan team with no sports facilities even with no ever having a play ground in the whole country reached the top of cricket, and their talent made them story of tongues in the world. i forgot to write to my first blog on first July. i changed the room to start writing again, right after few minutes I heard the long applaud, shouting and happy emotions not only from my friends room, but from the streets surrounding our office, and the Team of Miracles Won by Six Wickets on first July my first blogging day

What about you, do you like watching or play Cricket?

Hello Enayat and welcome to the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Learning English blogs.

Now that England are out of the football World Cup we are looking for success to our cricket team. They are currently playing a one-day series against Australia, their old rivals. England lead Australia 3 - 1 in the 5 match series, so we know that England have already won this series. So England have had some sporting success this summer!

Your teacher blogger will be Kim, a new teacher blogger for Learning English. So we'd like to welcome her as well as you to these blogs.

All the best and we look forward to reading your blogs.

    Hello and welcome, Enayat!
The only thing I remember about cricket is my former host family in England trying hard to explain the rules of the game to me. I was 14 then, I'd never seen the game before, and it was hopeless. Unfortunately cricket is not very popular in my country, Austria. But, like Niu before me, I'd like to congratulate your team on their success, and I am looking forward to reading more of your posts this month.
    Take care,
    Elisabeth (Austria)

Hi Enayat! Nice to meet you. Congratulations on being chosen the blogger of this month at the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Learning English! And of course the success of the Afghan cricket team is worth admiring so there's no wonder you couldn't help watching the game with your colleagues :) To be honest, I don't know much about cricket because it's not that popular in my country. I'm a little embarrassed to admit it but I don't even know the rules of the game so I think it's obvious that I don't play cricket. In fact, I prefer riding a bicycle or rollerblading to team games. Anyway, I congratulate the Afghan cricket team on the victory.

I'm looking forward to your next blogs.

    Good luck!

    Hello Enayat!
this is my first message, I've just signed in. As a new comer it's everything new for me, but I belive this website is a great tool to improve English. I'm discovering it little by little.... and now I wish I had found it earlier.
By the way, I've never watched a Cricket match, and I have no idea about the rules of this sport. I'm from Italy and here Cricket is not popular, but I imagine that whatever sport we talk about... when national team wins it's a great moment and everybody is proud of the country we are from.
    best wishes,
    Elisa

    Hi Enayat
I'm so glad that you are the current blogger because your country is an anigma for me and I'm so curious to know and to understand what is going on there. All my knowledge about you is based on the unforgetable story of Haled Husseini "The kite runner".I must admit that a team called Out of Ashes is stimulating my imagination.I think that is the reason you use the word "miracle" to describe their win. A victory against all the speculations.
I wish you a fruitful month. I'm going to read you permanentaly.

    Hi Enayat,
welcome, and nice to hear about win of your country's cricket team, so congrats to you!
My some friends from Pakistan used to play cricket when I with them lived in same the hall of residence Textile Akademy in town Ivanovo. I'm at times watch they playing, but I also don't understand anything in the rules of the game. I hope someone else of our friends who can talk with you about your favourite game will write yet.
I look forward to reading your next excellent posts. I like your style writing, it's a dissimilar and original one, and it seems your language is quite fluency. Are you living in some English-speaking country?
    Best wishes,
    Emat

Oh, Enayat, bear with me a minute, please, above in my post I've found two gramatical mistakes at least: of course, "...I watched" not "...I'm watch". And "...your language is quite fluent" not "...fluency". Thanks. Now you can re-read my post.

    Hi Enayat,
in my country cricket is not so popular… and I’m not sure if we got a national team… and I can’t play it… and I don’t know the rules… Nevertheless, your post is interesting for me! You managed to put your emotions in writing!
Congratulations to the Afghan cricket team and to you!
    Best wishes,

Here in Brazil cricket isn´t very popular as football, voleyball and basketball, so I´ve never watched a cricket match. What a pity!
I´m looking forward to reading your next blog.
    Best wishes,

    Welcome Enayat.

It'll be fine to meet you for all month long.

Honestly, when we hear the word 'Afganistan', often the views come as blood, bomb, death, fighting and more negative sounds and words. But, presumably, there're also good something. May we expect that we'll know a different Afganistan from you by this month?

Hey, I'm from Bangladesh. So, surely you understand about our craze for cricket. It's the most popular game in our country. Today, a one-day game is going on with England.

Look forward to your best wishes for our team.

    Bye.

    Hi, Enayat

I am Brazilian and here the most popular sports are soccer and volleyball. We ended up being eliminated from Soccer´s World Cup for Dutch.I know cricket by the films, should be a game that requires more skill than strenght. But,I understand the passion for a team, my favorite soccer team has been world champion 3 times. Congratulations on your cricket team. Wellcome to the blog.
