I'm Marco from Italy and I'm so happy to read about Your country of which I didn't know so many things. Recently I read Shantaram a novel written by Gregory David Roberts that took inspiration also from the period of his life he passed in Mumbay. I had to confess that, from my small city in my small country, the view I received from that novel is that everything (lanscapes, peoples, different races and more)is on a large scale that is difficult for me to imagine.
I look forward to heard all you'll write about you and your country.

I'm very glad that the 蜜芽传媒 staff have chosen you, especially because I had opportunity to meet some Indian people from Gujarat when I used to live in England.
I remeber that they liked it cricket, always after work were running to play it. This game is a big puzzle for me, I have no idea about the rules :)It's completely unpopular in Poland.
I hope one day I'll visit your country, I like it- never miss the programms on the Travel Channel :)

I鈥檓 looking forward reading your blogs through the first spring month. I鈥檝e never been to India, but I鈥檝e heard about your country so much from my friends. All of them have been fascinated by it.
Yesterday I watched a film 鈥淓at, pray, love鈥� and there were some episodes from India. It鈥檚 really telepathically to have a blogger form India today, isn鈥檛 it? I thought it becomes a very popular traveling to Asia among Europeans. What are they looking for there - the totally other life, the different rhythm of life, the nice nature, the other culture .The one friend of mine said if You once have been being in Asia You want to come back again and again(I鈥檓 not sure if this sentence is correct, hope You鈥檒l understand what I mean). And I鈥檓 completely agree with it. After my traveling to Bali last year, I want to go to Asia again.
And I鈥檇 like to ask You to tell all as about poverty in your country, the level of education, the differences in qualities of life between big cities and villages, the problem of the garbage, the Bollywood dance, the wedding鈥檚 traditions (about getting marriage age, if your parents choose your future partner), sari.

Very nice to read your blog written about India and offering some comments. I am Prakash from Nepal as you know it is one of your neighboring country having very good relationship with India not as of now rather than our social cultural ethinicity and many more things connected each other for very beginning.

The photo you have posted on blog has been visited in 2006 with my family was beyond the imagination how we enjoyed over there. Meantime we visited the Palace namely by one of the Muslim King was so beautiful, amazing, breathing taking craft used to build it. After all, we had a tour on the top of the hill nearby Mysore city where there was a Hindu temple situated on but I don't remember the name exactly right now, may be Kali mandir or Shiva mandir something like this. Regardless of that, we went to Brindaban fountain which is famous for film suiting was only around an hour drive as I remembered.

Apart from the mystic travel to India, which I reckon is a worldwide cliche', I don't really think to know deeply a lot about your country.Your extraordinary country.
My first really taste of India was a couple of years ago when I ended up having lunch in the oldest Indian restaurant in London, which I won't mention it (for obviosuly reasons) but it's just a stone's throw away from Piccadilly Circus. I loved it !!
It was absolutely fantastic and my love with Indian food and therefore with part of your culture began. Incidentally, when I go back to England I am a regular customer of that restaurant .
I love the smell of it and its welcoming atmoshpere. My favorite dish is, sorry I know that I'll say something obvious, is chicken Tikka Masala, naans bread and poppodums with sweet mango chutney and lime pickle as well. It's absoultely deeelicious!

I haven't had the chance to visit India yet but it's definitely on my agenda. Soner or later I'll visit it. I hope you can provide us with a large amount of helpful information and tips.
Bye the way I'm not a great fan of cricket but I was told that a match it could even last for a few days. Is it correct?
Last but not least what's the wehater like where you live?

@Prakash: Hi, you are absolutely right, since there are some political drama between two of the countries, there seem to be a sort of tension in relationship. And yes even I have been to that place, Tipu Sultan Palace, Bangalore. It鈥檚 really an epitome of architecture.

@Marcello: Hi Marcello, even I like Chicken Tikka masala very much. And I am very much fascinated by the way you have described each and every item i.e, right from pickle, chutney to naan. If you are visiting to India in coming days, then do tell me , I will surely give a treat to you and will introduce you to some more 鈥楬ot n Spicy鈥� dishes.. 飦�.

I got great pleasure when I read your blog and watched the pictures.
I now few information about your country but I watch Indian films and watch programs National Geographic Society. Sometimes they show to us India.
I read about Taj Mahal the famous historical monument in your Country. Jahan Shah built this monument for his wife which was died. And I read that Jahan Shah cut the arms of person who built this Monument.

Very nice to read your blog. I think you choose a very nice topic for me, as I am in India now, and I am glad to talk some feeling to you about your country.

I have been here two months or so till now. Before I came here. All the thing I鈥檝e known is India is a very old country ,also have very long history. The economic is developing very fast at the moment. After been staying here for such a lot time .I must say I find some different stuff. Firstly ,most Indian life are at ease. People enjoy their days, even if some of them is poor. They do not work very hard to earn enough income, but feel very happy as well. Besides, this absolutely is a harmonious society, between people and all the animals. Cows walk slowly all over the city. Dogs sleep comfortably along the street under the sunshine. Nobody want to bother them.You can see different birds and other animals just like cabrite,snake,etc everywhere.Finally,I know that India have a very huge number of people ,so I think it maybe have a very glory future as she did in the past.

I live in Central America and in this part of the continent we don't know anything about Cricket, in fact, we have the idea that this sport is hold only in UK, however with your post I learnt the countries that play it.

Pravin, the first image that comes to my mind is the beautiful monument "The Taj Mahal", it's an icon of your country, I also know your country is very popular for the species and kinds of tea.
I read a little about the independence from England, please tell me, Is it mandatory to learn English from elementary school? or How do people in your country learn English?
BTW, I learnt the word "gals", I have never heard it before, I searched the meaning:)
I would like you write about the ways of transportation in India, I am interested in learning a bit about this.

I'm Prabou from France. I was born in France and always lived there but i'm from indian culture. It's always nice to have some news of my lovely country.

I know for beeing in india that cricket is more important than anything for indian people. My parents still love that game but here in France cricket is not very famous and is not broadcasted at all. So they have to see it on the Internet.

I'm also an indian supporter and hope India will win this world cup.

Here in France the only religion for sports lover is Football (Go Paris Saint Germain!!).
I saw the indian football team at the asian cup it was a catastrophe... I guess people in india are not interrested in Football.

I have a lot more to say about India but i'm actually at my English cours on 蜜芽传媒 elearning...so ByE for now and sorry if there is any mistakes in my english :)

Tadassa please to meet you. I was in India four year ago, I was at Centre-South. I arrived to Bombay and later I visited the south of India. Really it is a wonderful country and they have a very well transport. They have a lot of transports and the frecuency ot them are so good. The train is a good means of transport but I like bus transport too because it is cheeper and one important thing: there are bus in the night with beds. This is perfect because you can travel sleeping in the night and you arrive fresh at place you want visit in the morning.

I don't know much about it so I'll be glad to read about it in your blogs.

Some years ago there was a soap opera here in my country that showed us a bit about your country and it's habits. But I guess many of the things they showed are not true anymore in the modern world. I'll be glad to know it from you.

For example. In the story it was implied that Indians only marry indians and marriages happen in a very early age between children. And it's arranged by the families. I wonder if it's still like that.

im afsaneh frome.lar,iran, but i live in tehran because of university. of course i live in dormitory.
my dormitory is really crouded and every time is noisy except at night from 2 or 3am. we should study in our library not in room because there are lots of noise to disrupt ur concentrate.
at first the atmosfere of domrmitory and being far from my family make me really nervous but now i use to.
i study health care managment in ba.

Hi,Provin, glad to see ur post.I m evergreen from ur neighbouring country Bangladesh.I apreciated ur post as u add some nice picture.Although i m ur neighbouring country man but still I cannot manage to visit India.As a big country I see many sites indian.I ve a plan to travel ur country also ve some places list.But I see as a citizen both countries gov & political relation is not smooth.We read in the new papers & also know that Bangladesh import huge from India but indian gov often allow to export from Bangladesh.Also may be u donot know our Bangladeshi eagerly watch maximum indian Tv channels but do u know indian authority still donot allow Bangldeshi Tv channel which ve only few.Do u know we ve the longest seabeach in the world.Although India has many famous places but two countries peoples attitute,enviornment almost except kasmir or rajosthan like this.Pravin have u been to Bangladesh ?

Together, the Himalayan mountain system is the planet's highest and home to all 14 of the world's highest peaks, the Eight-thousanders, including Mount Everest. To comprehend the enormous scale of Himalayan peaks, consider that Aconcagua at 22,841 feet (6962 m) is the highest mountain in the Andes, while there are over thirty peaks in the Himalaya exceeding 25,000 feet (7620 m).
