Hi every one. Introducing myself

Post categories:

Luis Ublado Luis Ublado | 15:21 UK time, Wednesday, 6 June 2012

This is not the first time I write a blog, but it is a important one because I was given the chance to write for another English learners just like me. So please let me introduce myself.
My name is Luis Ubaldo Godínez Flores, I am 34. I like playing the guitar, listening to classical rock and roll music (you know The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, etc) and spending my free time with my wife and our two doughters.

My family

I live in the north of Mexico City in a location called Cuautepec. My house is not a big one but it is not a small one neither - if you consider in Mexico some people live in very little places of nearly 45 meters long - My wife, Ariadna, my dougthers and I, share the same house with my mother in law and her two brothers, Nasser and Victor. In the picture below you can see my family.

My family

My older dougther's name is Dafne and the younger is Nicole, she is a baby of just 6 months. She born on December 7th, so she was our Chrismas gift, a precious one, I think. I do not want lost the opportunity to present other members of my family they are my mother Hortensia, my dad Arturo and my sister Lenia, she is younger than I.

I am an Computer Engineer for the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico (UNAM), the most pretigious university in Mexico. I work for the UnAD the on line university of Mexico and started studying English four years ago. My pourpose is improve my talking and listening and get the FCE at the end of the year.
Well I hope you will enjoy the next articles I will write for this comunity all June and of course I would like to make a lot friends around the world in order to share experience and get a better level in this powerful, useful, beauty and of course important language.

Have a nice day!
Luis Ubaldo

Hello Ubaldo ! You have very nice family and your daughters are too cute. I think you have fun and pleasure 24/7 in your home because there are many member in the same place. I have seen your city in one film, it's very natural. I'm from India and I'm very far from my home. I'm living in hostel and my sister doing study at another place which is also very far from me and our home but we go home after six months and enjoy with our parent. My uncle, grandfather and grandmother living in another city. So, we have no joint family and spent time lonely in school-hostel or work-place even we have a big house in a big city. Don't mind if I did mistake in English because I only know Hindi very well. Thanks ! (*_____*)

I hope we manage to get it! You have a very nice family and you are all very lucky to live in the same house and can spend time together. In my case, my parents and my sister live in different cities from me, and although we get together twice a month, I miss them a lot.

    Hello Ubaldo,
Your daughters are so cute and lovely! And you have a big and loving family! It's the real value! I have a very big flat, more than 100 square metres. And I share it with my mum and three cats. I have a sister, who lives in Budapest (in the capital city of Hungary) and sometimes visits us.
I'm very curious for your country, Mexico. I have known some "information" about it only from the soap operas.
    Have nice days,

    Hello Ublado,

It is nice to read your blog. I am 45 years old man from Finland. I used to work in software business also, but nowadays I have other plans for rest of my working career. Writing is one of my hobbies and I have plans to study it more. Maybe some sunny day I will be a top journalist or a beloved author.

I like listening to music and other culture and arts are interesting too. The Beatles is one of my favourit band but I also love bands like The Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Byrds, Simon and Garfunkel, Pink Floyd, The Queen and others. I like also British Punk music. The Clash is the best, but also The Ramones from USA is good.

I like to read a lot. Was Carlos Castaneda Mexican? If I remember right he was. Any way I like his books much. Please say hello to your family and cute daughters. Here in Finland is midnight and here is quite a warm summer night.

Can't wait to read about sir Paul McCartney.
