ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ of the giant octopus
On the rocky shore of the Pacific Ocean in Ussuriland, Arctic waters full of nutrients mix with waters from the south. This fertility and warmth produces an abundance of life. The camera submerges to show a seabed populated with starfish, sea cucumbers and sea urchins. Deeper waters are the domain of the giant octopus which change colour during territory grabs on each other’s dens. The world's largest sealion, the Steller's sealion, also thrives here.
