Caroline Nokes MP: 鈥�51% of the population should be a priority鈥�

Caroline Nokes MP has told Naga Munchetty that a 鈥渄ramatic prioritisation鈥� is needed within women鈥檚 healthcare.

Neither the MRC (Medical Research Council) nor the NIHR (National Institute for Health and Care Research) currently ring-fence funding for research into women鈥檚 health issues.

鈥淲e know that when you shut women out of the decision-making process, you get bad decisions,鈥� she said, 鈥淭he things that impact women get overlooked鈥�.

鈥淭here has to be a push to make sure that we recognise that 51% of the population matters鈥�.
