Adele Roberts on her cancer diagnosis: 'That girl's ill and she doesn't know'

Adele Roberts, broadcaster and former 蜜芽传媒 Radio 1 presenter, shares how she reacted to being diagnosed with bowel cancer in October 2021.

She initially thought her diagnosis would be the end.

"I think part of me was like 'OK, that's your ticket, time's up'", she recalled.

She would then be told the cancer had been growing for 10 years inside her.

"So I look back at pictures from 2011 and I'm like 'my god, that girl's ill and she doesn't know'.

"It's always a spectre that will be with be now until the day I die", she said.
