I am sending a picture of the Hungarian house of parliament. This photo was taken on 23rd October 2009 evening. It is a special day for us. We celebrate the 20th anniversary of the republic and the 53rd anniversary of the revolution of 1956 as well. This day is considered as the celebration of freedom in Hungary, or at least, it should be.
Today the building was illuminated in the colors of the national flag (red, white, green).

Here is my contribution with a photograph taken in Oktober 2009 in Husum, Nordfriesland, Germany on the occasion of the local 'Krabbentage' Festival (Shrimp Days). The costume is typical for the tiny North Frisian offshore islands called 'Halligen'. These women were representing the Hallig Hooge at a folk dance performance by the harbour in Husum.:
