Hi everyone, i was thinking and thinking how I could start to writing for the first time in this blog, after a long time, I do, so I decided to star with the story as I am now blogger from ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ LEARNING.

zocalo-cd-mexico-y-catedral.jpg

I take English classes twice a week in the office, and Jo my teacher (She's from England) showed us the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ LEARNING web page to practice and I saw the student's blog and the opportunity to improve and practice English, so I decided to write. After a few weeks I don't know exactly when I received a mail for Nuala, this notice made me feel surprised but at the same time exiting, because she told me that no one had ever written from Mexico. Nuala asked me for a response if I want to be the May blogger, I didn't think the answered twice, I'm really happy to write and share this experience with all of you.

That was the story and now it's time to introduce myself. I'm Mitzi Flores, as you know I'm from Mexico City, I work in an international company. I live with my mom, Ihave to brothers, y younger brother lives in monterrey in the north of Mexico. My middle brother lives in the city, and ther're merried, by the way I have two little and charmy nephews, one of them born the las year.

I look forward my weekends to spend time with my family, boyfriend and friends to do different things of the week. Fortunately in Mexico we have a lot of places to go, like restaurants, restaurant bar, cinemas, theaters, cultural places, expositions for free and some we have to pay for, etc.

But the most I enjoyed doing is, cooking, eating and watching movies.

All this month I hope share many things about Mexico, this is an extraordinary place to live and visit, we have a lovely crazy weather (most of the time it's really good the weather),a lot of traditions, culture, the most of the people here are friendly, it's a nice place, but it would be nice to say Mexico today is a bigger city with a lot of traffic, people everywhere, and sometimes this causes stress, and we are always running, but in spite of this Mexico is lovely.

Before I finished I want to thank ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Learnig for the opportunity and thank Jo because she showed me the web site.

    Hi Mitzi
    Welcome.
By the month May, I think we'll know more about you, about Mexico, her culture, tradition and so on. Anyway, whenever I hear the word 'Mexico', I always remember Mexico'86. You surely know why it's for. Yes, it's World Cup Football!!!!!!!! It's Maradona!!!!!!!! But, surprisingly, the football world has been missing Mexico for a long time, I think. I don't know why it's happening. May we know something from you, Mitzi?
    Take care.

    Hello and welcome Mitzi,
I was wondering about your name - it sounds so astonishingly familiar to me. Mitzi is a form of endearment for the name Maria here in Austria. Is it a common name in Mexico? Or are you an undercover Austrian?
Looking forward to hearing - no, reading - from you again,
    Elisabeth, Austria

    Hi, Mitzi!
Welcome! That's great that our new student blogger is from Mexico City, it's very interesting to find out from your knowledgeably written postings about the modern way of life in the such exceptional country as Mexico.
Before I was also thinking of writing to ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ LE about my chance to be student blogger, but later (on time, I think) I decided to delay my attempt a little, because I can see that your level are much more higher in English language than me.
How long have you been learning English? I started buck with ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ LE three month ago.
P.S. Movies are very interesting theme I think too:) (suggested by Ana Paula).
    Best wishes,
    Emat.

    Hi Mitzi,
Nice to meet you as a student blogger this month and hope to hear more about yourself and your country Mexico. I have never been there but knowing a little bit about it by reading news. Mexico is one of the megacities in the world. Like other populous cities, air pollution and traffic jam are big problems that people in these cities are coping with.
On the one hand, Mexico has a lot of historic buildings, specific traditions and famous natural places. On the other hand, drug cartels, organised crime and illegal migrants are other problems that concern a lot of Mexican people and authorities. Anyway, ignoring those problems, hopefully reading more your blogs about culture, food, and tradition festivals in your country.

    Hello,
There are some persons talking about movies. So, suddently, I remenber a movie named 《GOAL!》I don't know your opinion of this movie. For me, it is a great movie which stimulated and moved me so much. The scenes of football games were so real and exciting that making you fell like you were in the locale watching the games.By the way, the movie mainly told a story about a young footballer named Santiago Munez from Mexico...

    Hello to everybody.
I write from Spain, Andalucia. There is some similar things between Mexico and Andalucia, mostly the custom about bull activities, language, music, etc.
I've never been in Mexico but its typical music, I mean the Mariachis, is very famous around the world. I remember a very famous singer: Juan Gabriel, but I have not heard anything else of him a long time ago.
I think that you have a lot of things for showing us from Mexico, so we are waiting them.
