I am from Central Europe (Czech Republic), so I know some things about Belarus but not so much. Now it seems, I will learn more :-) By the way, I was very near to Belarus this summer - we were in Bialowieza forest in Poland with my boyfriend and we went to see the state borders. It seemed to be very strictly watched, so I remembered times some twenty years ago in Czech republic...

I do not want to talk about politics, but what is your opinion at Lukashenko and his regime? Here in Czech, he is considered to be slightly a dictator - but is it really true? I am really interested in opinion of Belarusian people themselves.

Hi Veronica ! What city do you live? I was born in Moscow but consider possibility to move to another city for working and living. I've found one place in Minsk. Could you describe the advantages and disadvantages of life here - costs, traffic, criminals, corruption, may be something else?

Many thanks for your words. I'd like to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Here, we're about to finishing the Spring, It's almost Summer. The Christmas here is very funny due to this... Shoppings and others things and places are very very coloured and light. It's a happy time.

We had problems with a violence in the slums region here, but it seems that everythings is controled. Thanks God for it.

Well, i really love my family. I know that i have a treasury, and i thank God every single day. But, in fact, i was born into a the same family, so i'm just reproducing the same thing. It's good. Isn't it?

About the Photos, Your computer is ok. The photos is ok for me, but when i did the upload, i don't know what happened. I have lots of photos in my ORKUT (Natanael Santos) - lots of photos for the Last Lidia's Birthday Party. It was great !!!

You'll see my mother, my father, my mother in law, my father in law, my friends, me, Evelyn and Lidia have fun.

Also, i'm following the news about the wether there. It's very cold there.

And the several of my much more favourite ones I list somewhere here in an comment to Jan's Blog about books. As a rule, at first I'm reading the ones in Russian; if a book make an inpression on me, then I find them in English.

If you want to see me I often come to Wi-Fi centre in PLAZA's bookshop section; in upstairs. If you see there some a long-haired guy with notebook who outwardly resembles Navajo chief - immediately freeze in front of him and wait: if he long drawn-out pronounce to you, "Please, come forward!" - then it will be me. I'm really interest in learning thing about places like Belarus..it's so easy find information about "famous" or "mains" countries...but about places "out of media" is totally diferent...and in blog like that we can see the country with your "own eyes"...I hope to learn a lot of things with you...in this first text I can realize your country have been being opened only recently...for me it's a good way to learn something...and it's in english...cause it would be impossible understand russian or belarusian...after all, I speak portuguese...
