Although I’m not Italian, I do love Rome a lot and I’m very happy to live in this city… I’ve been living here, in Rome, since 1984. So I feel as if I were Roman and as it were my second country… In some way I know about Italy, especially about Rome, more than how much I know about my own country. I’m from India and I love my country, I’m very proud about being an Indian citizen, but circumstances of life brought me in Italy when I was 17 and I settled here.
Although I have already visited all of those places you listed, it’s always good to see them again and to read something about them on this web… It makes you feel linked with the whole world. You are utterly right, when you say that we are a great family…
By the way, I hope you will give us some other information about your family, your you’re your city and so on…
Don’t worry about the mistakes you could make in your writing, because we are here to learn and to improve our English skills. So go on with your good work…

Hi Vito, i'm from Kerala, India. Thanks for giving info about your country and its all new for me. I wish to know more about the life of italians, their culture, believes, rituals and cuisines ofcourse. I once met two Italian fathers, ones name was Rugera valantini like that...They came to our college to ingurate a new block and the Fr. delivered a speech in Italian Language and Our college manager translated it in to our mother tongue. it was a wonderful experience. I also spoke with them in English.

Vito, You write almost well. My advise to you is that Concentrate on spellings and also on grammatical structure. You don't have to depend on grammar books for it, Just read a lot, then you will get lot of model sentences, U will comprehend them all after a while, Copy them in similar Contexts. Never stop, Always have fun with English. Look forward to hear more from you dear.

I am delighted that you posted an article on Rome describing its iconic monuments. I always dream about to visit Europe and now, my inspiration is escalating after reading your articles. You are a good presenter and pictures on your article add more attraction to the readers. Anyway, there is no doubt about spectacular sights and monuments in Rome. I have been living in Canberra, Australia for one and a half year to do my higher degree in engineering. Originally i am from Bangladesh, a small south asian country. I have recently came to know about bbc learning website and its blogs. so far, i found it attractive to know about people from different cultures and their experience. Moreover, as an engineering student, i am always scared of writing and struggle to express my opinion in a organized way.

I like your blogs very much and thank you for your very nice pictures. The first thing I would like to share with you that you are not the one who makes mistakes in writing English; like you we also make more or less mistakes. Don't scare of making mistakes because we can learn alot from it. Then, I would like to tell you that I always have an interest in leaning Italian and I am trying to carry it out now. I have been in many places in Italy and want to visit your country for all time because I love Italian food and ice cream so much, I think it's just something very amazing that I could not decribe when I enjoy Italian food and ice cream.

I think, fontana di Trevi is the most of beautiful places I have seen in my life. The first time I saw it was in April this year as I went to Rome with my Love, he showed me the place. We were there at night and during the day - very impressive! I really would like to recommend Rome for all people they are in love to go there;-)

I am a newbie here. I've been learning English for 30 years - at school, at University, at courses. But I can't overcome that language. This summer I studied in English First school in Manchester. It was a great expirience. I knew gramma not so bad but I couldn't speak. I met many people from around the world and all of them learned English. We all talked with mistakes, but we talked and understood each other. And now I'm not afraid to speak. The main thing is not to be afraid and to go forward. Good luck!
