Mango Bikes
Mango Bikes was started by two housemates at University together.

They were looking for a way of getting in and out of Uni on bikes that worked, looked good and didn’t cost an arm and leg. The market was bare. So, Mango Bikes was born to provide highly desirable and high quality bikes without the price tag.
It didn’t seem right to them that you can buy a car exactly to your spec or shoes to your design, but that bikes were only available in a few dull, pre-selected colours. They decided to take things a step further and let you, the rider, do the designing of your bike.
They want people to not only see their bike as a tool for getting from A to B, but also as a fashion accessory that they’re proud to be seen with.
Jezz
Jezz is from Cirencester and has raced and ridden bikes since his early teens, but with engines. He’s a keen motocross rider and plans to get back into it now he’s finished Uni.
Jezz looks after the marketing side of the business operations. He’s always been determined to be his own boss and always looking for new ideas. So when the Mango Bikes idea presented itself, he jumped right on it. The clean, simple, modern and cool brand image that we have here is thanks to Jezz’s imagination and vision of the brand.
Ben

Ben is from Newcastle and has raced and ridden Downhill mountain bikes since his early teens. He’s also worked on the mountain bike World Cup circuit as a mechanic for some of the biggest teams in the world (including world champions) so he also knows how to build and maintain them to quite literally the highest standard too.
Ben looks after the buying, stock control and logistical side of our business operations. When he’s not doing something with 2 wheels, studying or sending the latest designs to the factory, you’ll find him strapped up to a power kite on the beach, karting, cliff jumping or being drawn to anything with a risk involved.
Jezz was painting the MB workshop when he heard Richard promoting the show on Radio 1. He dropped the paint brush immediately and got straight onto the computer and applied. They didn’t expect much but it’s turned out to be the best thing that’s ever happened. It wasn’t just the money that attracted them but also Richard himself.
