One Elephant...One Idea.
Why do some children have the right to an education whilst others don't?
Set up by friends James and Tim after working in Africa and Asia, Elephant Branded wants to change that.
The idea is simple. For every product you buy, they donate a school kit (an ergonomically designed rucksack with lots of pens and paper) to children who they thing deserve a chance. These bags are hand delivered by partner organisations working on the ground to make sure that every purchase makes a positive change to someone's life.
At the moment their product range consists of 2 bags (one large, one medium) which are tough, durable and cool. They are made from recycled, locally sourced cement bags in Cambodia and are reworked by local villagers to create weekend and gym bags for people like you. Each one is handmade and all of the villagers received an elevated wage to help them escape from subsistence farming. In addition to the bags, they also sell wallets, purses and laptop/iPad cases.
