Tom Skinner is best known for his memorable stint on The Apprentice in 2019, where he quickly became a breakout star thanks to his honesty, humour and straight-talking style. Born and raised in Romford, East London, Tom grew up with a love of sport, winning a scholarship to Brentwood School before leaving at 16 to become a market trader. A natural grafter, he went on to launch several businesses, most notably The Fluffy Pillow Company, which has since grown into a successful brand.

After The Apprentice, Tom’s larger-than-life personality led to appearances on shows including 8 Out of 10 Cats, The Wheel and Celebrity MasterChef, as well as regular punditry spots on Good Morning Britain, GB News and TalkSport. In recent years, Tom has become a sensation on TikTok and Instagram, with his motivational pep talks - usually delivered over a plate of classic British grub, and his now famous catchphrase “BOSH!” earning him a huge online following. In 2024, he released his autobiography Graft:How to Smash Life, charting his journey from Romford market trader to successful entrepreneur and media personality.

Away from the cameras, Tom married wife Sinéad in 2022, and the couple share three young children, son Henry and twin daughters Roma and Darla. Known for his relentless work ethic, Tom starts his day between 3–4am to get ahead of his many business ventures, which now include Bosh Market and Bosh Gym. A lifelong West Ham fan, he admits he thought he’d be able to 'go to the football every week and just pop into Strictly on a Saturday evening”, but now he’s ready to give the ballroom his all.

Tom says he’s determined to graft as hard on the dancefloor as he has in business. With his trademark enthusiasm, infectious energy and sense of humour, he’s hoping to win over the judges and the audience and prove that even a market trader from Romford can lift the Glitterball.
